These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of lifebydesign.art (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

About This Site

The Site is the portfolio of Samantha Sherman, a licensed tattoo artist in Troutdale, Oregon. It also lets you send booking inquiries. Submitting an inquiry is a request — it is not a confirmed appointment until we agree on the details together.

Booking, Deposits & Cancellations

You can reach me through the contact form, by email at samantha@lifebydesign.art, or by direct message on Instagram (@lifebydesigntattoo). Booking a tattoo requires a deposit; deposit amounts and my cancellation and rescheduling policies are shared when we discuss your project.

Age & Identification

I tattoo clients 18 and older with valid, government-issued identification, consistent with Oregon law and studio policy.

Licensing

Oregon Board of Cosmetology Artist License BAP-TA-10255073; Facility License BAP-FA-10272050.

Intellectual Property & Portfolio Use

All designs, photographs, and other content on this Site are my property and may not be copied or used commercially without my written permission. I may photograph completed work and display it in my portfolio, on this Site, or on Instagram — if you prefer that your tattoo not be shown, just let me know at your appointment.

Acceptable Use

Please do not misuse the Site: no scraping, no automated form submissions or spam, and no republishing my designs or images without permission.

Links to Other Sites

The Site links to external services such as Instagram. These Terms do not apply to those services; your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Health & Safety

Site content is general information, not medical advice. Follow the aftercare instructions I give you, and consult a physician about any health concerns before or after your appointment.

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.

Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and your continued use of the Site means you accept the current Terms.
